NP4L Programs
Independent Living (ILS)
- Our ILS program gives individuals with developmental disabilities the resources, training and support to live as independently as possible. Once an individual decides to work with NP4L, our highly qualified staff creates an Individualized Service Plan in order to serve our consumers in the most beneficial ways. We can provide services in many different areas; however, our main 12 training objectives are:
cooking & meal preparation
cleaning & laundry
shopping
menu planning
money management
public transportation
personal health
self-advocacy
independent recreation
medical & dental services
community resource awareness
home & community safety.
Parenting Support (PSS)
Our PSS program provides parents with developmental disabilities and special needs the resources, guidance and support needed to parent as independently as possible in order to build a strong family unit and safe home. Once a parent decides to work with NP4L, our highly qualified staff creates an Individualized Service Plan in order to serve our consumers and their families in the most beneficial ways. We provide support in many different areas; however, our main 11 training objectives are:
prenatal
perinatal and postnatal support
benefit education
child medical care
home and community safety
nutrition education
parent skills training
monthly child assessments
health curriculum
self-advocacy training
Supported Living (SLS)
Our SLS program is extremely similar to ILS however, it provides services to individuals who need significant support, sometimes up to 24/7 care in order to live as independently as possible. This program focuses on independent housing and meaningful membership in the community. SLS services are specialized to the individual yet remain extremely flexible as needs change. This program provides services in the following areas:

shopping
